Global stocks are trading mixed currently after US markets ended little changed on Monday. Google’s parent Alphabet shares rose 1.43% outperforming market, Tesla shares surged 4.9% on Monday after CEO Elon Musk said the company would unveil its self-driving Robotaxi on August 8.

The Dollar is steady currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.2% lower on Monday.

Both EUR/USD and GBP/USD reversed their retreating on Monday after federal statistics office Destatis reported better than expected German industrial production data for February. Both Pound and euro are lower against the dollar currently. AUD/USD joined USD/JPY’s slowed advancing yesterday with the yen lower against the Greenback currently and Australian dollar steady while data showed Australia’s consumer sentiment worsened in April.

Futures on three main US stock indexes are mixed currently with the yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury down at 4.412%. US markets closed mixed on Monday with the three main stock benchmarks recording daily returns in a range from -0.04% to 0.03% as Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President Austan Goolsbee said the central bank must take into consideration how long it can maintain its restrictive policy without damaging the economy.

European stock indexes futures are down currently after closing higher on Monday led by mining shares. Asian indexes futures are advancing today with Japan’s Nikkei index leading gains.
