The technical analysis of the Volkswagen stock price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows #D-VOW,H4 is rebounding above the 200-period moving average MA(200) after hitting two-month low two weeks ago. We believe the bullish momentum will continue after the price breaches above the upper boundary of Donchian channel at 121.94. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below 119.73. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal low, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (119.73) without reaching the order (121.94), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

After a meeting with the CEO of both Porsche and Volkswagen Oliver Blume, Citi maintained a Buy rating on Volkswagen with a price target of €141.00. Citi’s confirmation of positive stance towards German auto giant came after negative investor reactions to Volkswagen's fourth-quarter 2023 and full-year 2023 results, as well as the fiscal year 2024 guidance. Citi's analysis indicates the market is underestimating Volkswagen's future prospects while the investment firm believes in automotive giant's potential to improve the free cash flow and increase company’s valuation. The stock price edged up 1.0% on the day after the endorsement.
