Global equity indexes are trading mixed currently after Wall Street ended at fresh records on Monday. Tesla shares fell 1.8% underperforming market as Musk on Saturday called president Trump-backed “Big Beautiful Bill” “utterly insane” and wrote on X that lawmakers who had campaigned on cutting spending but backed the bill “ will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth,” Apple shares rose 2.0% on Monday amid reports that the tech giant is considering using external AI technology from Anthropic and OpenAI to power its Siri voice assistant.

The Dollar weakening is intact currently. The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, ended 0.6% lower on Monday.

GBP/USD joined EUR/USD‘s accelerated climbing yesterday despite Destatis federal statistics agency report German inflation is still on disinflationary trajectory in June. Both Pound and euro are higher against the dollar currently. USD/JPY reversed its climbing while AUD/USD reversed is sliding on Monday with both the yen and Australian dollar higher against the Greenback currently.

Futures on three main US stock indexes are down currently. The yield on 10-year Treasury is down at 4.198%. US stock market ended higher third session in a row on Monday with the three main stock benchmarks recording daily gains in the narrow range from 0.5% to 0.6% as Canada rescinded taxes impacting US tech firms after President Donald Trump abruptly broke off trade negotiations because of the tax.

European stock indexes futures are mixed currently after indexes closed lower on Monday as the UK’s trade deal with the US that lowered tariffs on British-made autos and removed levies on Britain’s aerospace sector came into effect. Asian indexes futures are mixed currently with Japan’s Nikkei leading losses after president Trump sharply criticized ongoing trade negotiations with Japan the previous day saying that Tokyo refuses to import American-grown rice despite claiming to have a domestic shortage.

Brent is inching lower currently. Oil prices fell yesterday as the Energy Information Administration reported US crude oil production hit a record 13.47 million barrels per day in April, up from 13.45 million bpd in March . US West Texas Intermediate WTI ended 0.6% lower and are lower currently. Brent slid 0.2% to $67.61 a barrel on Monday.
