The technical analysis of the Tesla stock price chart on daily timeframe shows #S-TSLA,Daily is retracing down toward the 200-day moving average MA(200) after rebounding from seven-month low it hit six weeks ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 227.96. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to selly. The stop loss can be placed above the fractal low at 246.39. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high indicator, following Parabolic signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (246.39) without reaching the order (227.96), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

Tesla announced some Model 3 EVs will lose $7,500 tax credit. Will the Tesla stock price continue retreating?
Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range EV will no longer qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit starting December 31, according to company’s notice on its website. Tesla urges to “take delivery by December 31 for full tax credit" as the tax credit will end for the abovementioned models based on new guidance under the US Inflation Reduction Act. Earlier in July, Tesla indicated that the $7,500 federal tax credits for its Model 3 electric vehicles might face a reduction at the end of the year. Loss of tax credits for cars raises their price for buyers which is bearish for a carmaker’s stock price. However, Tesla shares gained of 0.96% on the day after the announcement.
